[MUSIC PLAYING]From the Enterprise Portal, you cansetup voicemail to email settings for a user.To do so, from the dashboard-- select to the Settings iconnext to the user you would like to set up this feature for.Select the View All Services link.A new page will open with additional features.Scroll to Messaging or choose Messaging from the dropdown menu, here.Select Edit next to Voice Email Management.Select Use Unified Messaging to allowthe user to access voicemail from the voice portal,both from their phone and dialing in remotely.Applications such as Anywhere Connect and Unity, and emailif select in the option below.To enable the message waiting indicator light--the red light on the phone alerting the userto new voicemail messages--check this box here.There are three commonly used options here.Receive email of actual voice message.wav file only.To have messages only forwarded to the user's email,check this box and enter the user's email address.Instead of unified messaging, select this option.Note-- if you choose this option,the user will not be able to access your voicemail messagesthrough the voice portal.Users will still need to access the voiceportal to record their busy and no answer greetings.Note-- this method will never allow the voice mailboxto fill up, as the voicemails will never bestored on the voicemail server.Receive email notifications to tell userto retrieve message via the phone voice portal.If unified messaging is selected, this option--Email Address for New Message Notifications--will send an email notification to the user's emailindicating that a message has been leftand it should be retrieved.Please note-- this is just a notification, notthe actual voicemail message.If selected, enter the user's email address here.Note-- this is particularly usefulif this voice mailbox is to be accessed by multiple people.And the notification is sent to an email distribution list.For example, support@acmecompany.com.Retrieve voice messages by a phoneand receive email of actual voice message.wav file.To have the user retrieve a .wav file of the voicemailto their email, select this option--email a CC of the message, too.And enter the user's email address here.They will receive a copy of the voicemail in their email,as well as their phone.Note-- if the user only ever listensto their messages via email, theywill need to clear their voice mailbox via the voice portalto avoid it filling up.If the user only ever plans to listen via email,they should use option one-- as listed above.The last option in the voice messaging serviceis transfer on zero to phone number.This allows callers that reach the voicemail to escapeto a different number.To enable, select On and enter the extensionor any 10-digit number in this field.Now if the caller presses zero during the greeting,those callers would be automatically routedto that extension or phone number.It's recommended to have the user recordthis instruction in their greeting to notifythe caller of this option.For example-- I'm away from my desk.If you need immediate assistance,press zero to reach the receptionist.Once done, select Save to save your settings.[MUSIC PLAYING]
