While on an active call using Anywhere Connect, you can initiate a conference call and transfer calls. You can perform either a blind (or unannounced) transfer or an attended (or consulted) transfer to another contact in your company directory or to another number using the dial pad. This guide will take you through the steps on how to utilize these functions.

A. How do I initiate a conference call?

  1. To initiate a Three-Way Conference Call from an active call, select the Options icon in the communications window.
  2. Select Conference with.
  3. Then, select New.
  4. Enter the name or phone number of the person you would like to join.
  5. Then, select Add.
 

B. How do I perform a blind transfer?

  1. To perform a Blind Transfer while on an active call, select the Options icon.
  2. Select Transfer to.
  3. Then, select New.
  4. Enter the name, partial name, or phone number of the person to whom to transfer the call.
  5. Then, select Transfer Now. The call will be transferred
 

C. How do I perform an attended transfer?

  1. To perform Consulted Transfer, while on an active call, select the Options icon from the communications window.
  2. Select Transfer To.
  3. Then, select New.
  4. Enter the name, partial name, or phone number of the person to whom to transfer the call. View the list of search results and select the entry.
  5. Then, select Attended Audio. Once the receiving party answers, announce the call.
  6. Select Transfer to complete the transfer.
