Anywhere Connect Android Phone and Tablet - Call Settings

Anywhere Connect supports the following service management features allowing supplementary services to be managed. From the main menu, select Call Settings. From here, you can configure Do Not Disturb, Call forwarding, Simultaneous Ring, Spectrum Remote Office, and Spectrum Anywhere.

Spectrum Anywhere*

Spectrum Anywhere allows service providers to offer fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) services without any additional equipment.

Spectrum Anywhere simplifies communications for on-the-go users and remote users by extending the features of a desk phone to any other fixed or mobile device, regardless of the network or handset manufacturer. Callers dial one number and can reach you on any phone the user chooses. A desk phone, cell phone, and/or a soft phone may ring simultaneously.

Enjoy voice call continuity with the ability to move live calls from one device to another without hanging up.

  1. To enable this feature on your mobile application, navigate to your Call Settings menu, then select Spectrum Anywhere.
  2. Under call settings tab spectrum anywhere is selected - Image opens in full resolution in a new tab
  3. Then, tap Add Locations.

  5. Enter the phone number of the device that you want to ring in the Telephone Numbers text box and tap Done.
  6. To enable this location, select the checkbox next to Enable this location.
  7. Here, you can also choose to activate Call control, Prevent diverting calls and Answer confirmation by tapping the checkboxes.
  8. When complete, tap Add.

    Android Tablet – Follow the same steps to configure Spectrum Anywhere on your Android Tablet.

Remote Office*

This service allows the use of any phone as an office phone from a charging and numbering perspective. For instance, a hotel room phone can be used as the office phone.

  1. Enable Remote Office and specify a phone number to be used as the Remote Office number.

Call Forwarding

By tapping on a different Call Forward option, you can enter a number to forward your calls as follows:

  1. Call forward always
  2. Forward when busy
  3. Call forward no answer
  4. Call forward when unreachable

Do Not Disturb

When you activate this service, all calls are typically blocked by the server and sent to voice mail.

Block My Caller ID

You can hide your number when calling or communicating with other parties or contacts. To hide your number, select Block my caller ID from the Call Settings menu and check Enable.

This Phone Number

This Phone Number is used in conjunction with the Hosted Voice Mobility service, and more specifically, with the Call-Through calling mode. The user should provide their mobile device telephone number in this field. This number should match the number configured in Hosted Voice Mobility for the Call-Through functionality to work.

Simultaneous Ring

Enable this feature to ring multiple devices at the same time for incoming calls. Add up to ten additional numbers or Session Initiation Protocol Uniform Resource Identifier (SIP-URI) addresses that you would like to ring in addition to your primary number when you receive a call. In addition, you can specify whether you want answer confirmations.
